What brought you to where you are now?
“I moved with my family to the U.S. from Bulgaria ten years ago, my parents decided to come here in search of a better life and better opportunities.”
What’s your biggest struggle right now?
“Going to sleep and waking up on time. Though that is probably 95% of college students problems. I find it hard to make sure I’m asleep by twelve, though. I have a lot to do, a lot to study.
What’s your major?
“I’m a biology major. I’m good at the sciences, biology, chemistry, physics. I appreciate all forms of art but I never really found that special quality for art within me.”
If you could choose to be good at one art, what one would it be?
“I’d actually choose to be a singer. I’ve always had a desire to sing, but I realize there is a big difference between talent and desire.”
If you could eliminate one thing from this world, what would it be?
“People not understanding each other… To make people look at each other’s views without discrimination. I think that would solve a lot of problems.”
What brought you to VCU?
“I heard they had a good mass communications program, I’m a broadcast major so that is the main reason.”
What was the happiest moment of your life?
“I would have to say… It hasn’t happened yet. I’ll know when it does though, I guess that’s because I’ll be the happiest in my life when it does.”
“I’m an acting major. I’m starring in a web series and directing a One Act that is showing in the first week of May.”
If you could change one thing about the world right now, what would it be?
“I would have to say, from my perspective, free education. It benefits everybody. I’m the
first person from my family to go to college and it’s a different world that I”m still adapting to.”
What’s the one wish you would choose to have granted?
“I would wish for something that gave us an understanding of each other, like an entire human consciousness.”
